my favourite things

So far the first week of winter has been strangely very busy for me. Not only am I trying to plan a holiday (will do a post soon on this), but my inbox has been flooded with enquiries and sticker orders from readers, and I have now sold out of stock through the online store. I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and support; the feedback I have been receiving lately is so positive and it means so much to me. Over the next few weeks I am going to try my hardest to bring you guys some really awesome new content. Although after the caption comp last month, it is going to be really difficult to top the May stats!

Autumn was all about my MX-5 and after many hours of hard work and the help of some awesome friends, I've now finally got the car starting to look how I envisaged it. There are still lots of things I'd like to do to it but I'm just not in a hurry to get them done - it's such a fun project and I'm enjoying it way too much! After 3 straight months of all my money going into my car however, I realised that I hadn't spent any money on myself in what felt like forever. My nails looked awful and all of my stockings had holes in them, so lately I've been trying to get back in touch with my girly side. I thought I would share on here some of my favourite things at the moment that have helped me do just that!

I was walking through the mall the other day and suddenly walked into a cloud of the most amazing scent. It was like freshly baked cinnamon and apple muffins that my mum makes and it was so amazing that I had to actually go into the shop and ask what it was, which is so not something I would usually do! I've been addicted to it ever since and after doing a quick google search I've discovered there are more products in the range too - check it out here.

These are my 3 favourite pink things in my beauty bag at the moment:

After officially updating my wardrobe for winter it seemed only appropriate to get a manicure, and now finally the void in my life has been filled by a very generous friend who has lent me his camera for a couple of weeks while my 5D is getting fixed. Thank-you so much Matt!

I thought I better save the best photo until last - just in case anyone else reading this finds it as funny as I do...

My boyfriend came home today with a 'door sausage' to put in front of our front door (it doesn't seal properly) and I thought it was so hilarious. I can't believe the label even says door sausage. So awesome! Don't you guys wish you had a door sausage?!
